Raw Running are pleased to be organising a fast, flat charity run on roads and trails on the coast at Goring by Sea, West Sussex. There are three distances to choose from; 5km, 10km or the new Kids 2km ‘Romero Rave’. The event will be based at Oscar Romero School (Goring-by-Sea, Worthing, BN12 5AF)

This is a charity event with all proceeds going to Friends of Romero (Registered Charity 1053384).  Everyone is welcome for a great coastal fun run.  It matters not if you’re looking to run 5km for the first time or a Personal Best.  Similarly, the 10km run is flat as a pancake and with three temporary crossing points across the course, you should have a rapid run on pavements, coastal trails and within the woodland copses.

If you’re a pupil of OR school, then make sure you wear your house colours for Teresa, Malala, Attenborough and Kolbe.

Here’s a word from the school’s PTA team.

“We would like to welcome you to St Oscar Romero Catholic School.  We are Friends of Romero, a small group of volunteers, parents and carers, who raise funds to support projects and buy specialist equipment for the students.  We organise school and community events, large and small, throughout the year; raising money and providing fun and entertainment for the students, their families and local community.  Currently, we are raising funds to upgrade the outside sports facilities, giving a massive boost to all the students and the wider community.  Our events are advertised on Facebook, so like our page and come along to our next event we’d love to see you.”
