Thanks to everyone who raced today and to the police who held their National Champs with us.  It turned out to be quite a testing day, the sea became choppier as the tide came in with the SW winds and the bike was much busier than normal too.  .

Congratulations once again to Henry Eaton (Army Triathlon Association) for winning the Standard race in 2:00:59, ahead of last year’s winner Matthew Stratford.  Jessica Prior (Trent Park Running Club) was first female in 2:20:53 ahead of Libby Free (Met Police Service).  In the Sprint race Mathew James (BRAT Club) won in 1:10:51 ahead of Michael Laws & in the female race Becky Seal (Bayside Tri) clocked 1:27:50 to win ahead of Trudi Cunningham.   There was surprise in the Relay as Alan Laws Physio Team were finally beaten by Team 2 Tuffs & a WECC in 2:01:14 with Nicole Patterson-Lett, Nik Allen & Craig Hunter making up the team.  The Police Champs were won by Karl Free and Libby Free, congratulations.
