Cowdray’s Maize Maze & wildflower picking area goes from strength to strength with 1000’s of visitors in 2024. 2025 is likely to be just as popular and once again we’ll be preparing a new maze for runners. This is a great family day out for parents, runners and kids alike. This is your chance to run 5km, 10km or the kids 3km run around the beautiful Cowdray Estate and world famous Polo Lawns. The course will include various sections of the maze, sunflower meadows and wildflowers. Don’t worry about getting lost, we’ll sign the course through the maze, so you get the full maze experience without the stress of getting lost !  Last year, the theme of the maze was ‘Farming Through the Ages’, where Farmer Barney reflected on farming practices, including how they have developed from the Stone Age as well as him discussing future farming techniques. What will the 2025 theme be? Our Flickr album will give you an idea about what to expect – it’s a great day out for the family.

Bigger and better than last year, the 2025 maze promises a challenge for all ages. Once you’ve run the maze, you’ll have the opportunity to walk it (without signs!) on your own or with friends and family. It features a stamp trail, viewing platform as well as teas, coffees and light refreshments provided by the Farm Shop Café. There is even a Cowdray Lifestyle pop-up to browse in..

Each runner will receive one free entry to the Maize Maze plus one guest pass and a bespoke medal.
