Worthing Swim Start

ONLINE ENTRY WILL OPEN EARLY OCTOBER 2018

Worthing Triathlon is raced over the Standard and Sprint distance with a 1.5km/750m sea swim, 41km/21km undulating bike and 10km/5km promenade run, with the option of a Relay triathlon over the Standard distance.

The race is located by Alinora Boat Ramp, Marine Crescent near the Yacht Club (postcode BN12 4JE) at Goring Beach, Worthing, which is between Brighton and Chichester in West Sussex. The sea quality has been excellent over the last 14 years.

The event is now in it’s 16th year and is one of the original events where you can expect to be tested.

Sprint waves start at 08:00. Standard/Relay at 08:30. Compulsory race briefing at 7:40am for all races.

Registration 4pm to 6pm Saturday, please try and register on Saturday if possible.  Sunday 6am to 7:30am.   Collect your race pack and familiarise yourself with the course.

An administration fee of £1.50 per entry plus 1.5% will be applied to each entry by our online entry system partner, Results Base.
** Please note, if you have registered for the race using a BTF membership number you MUST present your membership card at registration or you will be required to pay a supplement for a Day Licence.

The event will be based by the Alinora Boat Ramp, Goring to the West of Worthing near the Yacht Club (Postcode BN12 4JE).  Registration, transition and finish will all be at this location.  Worthing is about 12 miles west of Brighton and 15 miles east of Chichester, West Sussex.

Please try and register on Saturday if possible as this will cut down time on Sunday morning bearing in mind the race starts early.  You will need to show your BTF Licence at registration.  If you do not have it you will need to purchase a Day Licence for £5.  There are no exceptions.

If you are not a member of the BTF you should have already paid the £5 when you entered. Collect your race number, bike number, helmet number, swim cap and T Shirt and familiarise yourself with the course.  The race WILL start on time, so if you intend to register on Sunday, please make sure you have registered and have your bike racked and kit all ready for the race.
